Tone correction
For colour that feels balanced again.
We assess the current tone and undertone of your hair. Based on that we choose a toner that neutralises warmth, adds softness or makes the colour look fresher again.

A gloss toner for shine, colour refinement and a fresh finish. The KURO GLOSS Toner is ideal when your hair colour looks dull, warm or less fresh than you want. With a toner we refine the colour, bring the tone back into balance and add shine. Perfect as maintenance between larger colour appointments, or as a finishing touch after highlights, balayage or bleach.
A toner does not change your entire hair colour, but refines what is already there. Think of blonde that has become too warm, balayage that could look softer, or coloured hair that needs more shine and nuance.
At KURO we first look at your current colour, the undertone in your hair and the result you want to achieve. We then determine which toner fits best: cooler, warmer, softer, creamier, more neutral or simply shinier.
The KURO GLOSS Toner is especially suitable when your colour is right, but the finish could be fresher, softer or more luxurious. It is not a full colour change, but a refining treatment for more shine, balance and care.

For shine and colour refinement.
The toner adds nuance and shine to your hair colour. The result is subtle, but often immediately visible: your colour looks more cared for, softer and more polished.

Depending on the treatment you book, we combine the toner with a blow-dry or haircut. That way you see immediately how the colour falls and how the shine comes through.

A toner is a colour-refining treatment that nuances the tone of your hair. It can neutralise warmth, soften blonde, add shine or make a colour look fresher again.
A toner does not change your hair colour completely. It refines the existing colour. Hair colouring, such as Root Colour or Full Colour, is intended to adjust the colour more strongly or refresh regrowth.
This treatment suits you if you have blonde, balayage, highlights or coloured hair that looks dull, warm, flat or less fresh. It is also suitable as maintenance between larger colour appointments.
Yes. Depending on the undertone, a toner can help soften or neutralise yellow, orange or warm tones. During your appointment your stylist assesses what is achievable with your current colour.
Not quite. A toner focuses mainly on colour refinement, while a gloss puts more emphasis on shine and softness. At KURO we combine both effects: colour refinement and a glossy finish.
That depends on your hair type, colour, wash routine and home care. Toner fades gradually. Your stylist advises how to keep the colour fresh and shiny for as long as possible.
Yes. Depending on your hair and desired result you can book a toner as a standalone treatment or combine it with a blow-dry or haircut. Current options are listed in the price list on this page.
Often yes. After lightening we use toner to refine the blonde tone and make the colour softer, cooler, warmer or creamier. Between colour appointments toner can also help keep your colour looking its best.
Book a toner when your colour is still good, but the nuance is no longer quite right. Especially blonde, balayage and highlights can look warmer or duller after a few weeks.
With a gloss toner we refresh the colour without doing a full colour treatment straight away.
